Chosen is an assemblage piece that plays on the timeless theme of alien abduction. In this work, a cow is chosen from a field by this spooky alien and flown off to another galaxy. The piece features a disgarded canned light fixture for a base along with several plastic animals from a thrift store. An electric motor turns at 5 revolutions per minute twirls the cow upward to the awaiting UFO.A small flicker bulb and plastic cup provide the effects of the paralyzing beam.
