In this painting I've tried to process the period between the summer 2019 and the first lockdown. At that time I lost the friends I had in my town and felt extremely lonely. I used to go on wednesdays to Cafés and draw a lot. That activity was a way of breaking loose from all the pain surrounding me. The blue society I the middle part depicts a capitalistic and work-life-orientated world, which oppresses and hurts the main character even more.
