While reading "The Second Sex" by Simone de Beauvoir I was inspired by her description of femininity at the time to be designated as other or wrong. Even today it feels to be Male is to be default and to be woman is to be Alien. In the drawing depicted is a city scape surrounded by purple mountains inspired by Las Vegas at night. In the foreground it a nude woman waiting atop the mountain for more aliens like her to come and take her home.
