I have been doodling this ever since high school. It grows similar to a palm, each 'frond' growing off the single stalk. Each new leaf grows at 180 degrees from one another. It's stalk and leaves are thick and supple like a succulent. The blue, (male) stamen pollinates the (female) pistils located in the flower that hangs above it. The red inside of the leaves attract pollinators to rest and bounce the flower down upon the stamen. The surface level roots spread wide, steadying the heavy base.
