This artwork represents freedom, peace, and summer vibes. It was inspired by the life of Anacaona, a princess warrior, Taino chief who was enslaved by Hyspaniards. She was a poet, a princess of freedom, who advocated for her people. When Columbus and his crew ravaged her land, this native Taino poet gave all to keep the peace.
