This is a drypoint etching print, meaning a scratched a piece of plastic to create little burs that ink could cling to before print it on damp paper. The reference for this print came from a room in my grandparents barn. This room hosted many summer days for my cousin and I as we allowed our imaginations to run wild and each object took on a new meaning. The image is filled with memories that have stood still in a room that no longer accommodates the young minds that flourished there.
