I grew up appreciating modern art—at 16, I fell in love with Mark Rothko. My art is my energy—apart from my flowers and sunbursts, I paint free-form shapes in vibrant colors on watercolor paper. Recently, I've moved into mixed media—pens, pains, and Sharpies. My dogs, Leo and Bridget, hang with me. I always work with music— The National, Bon Iver, Jason Isbell, Tedeschi Trucks, Marcus King, and New Fav. Greta Van Fleet, to name a few.
