Hello, I'm Alejandra Leon. Before biomedical and mechanical engineering, I’m an artist. I had years of artistic block when I became seriously ill with asthma and had to stop painting and stop doing analogue photography. But now I'm back, painting a lot and with healthier techniques and materials. I am passionate about working between layers of paint, textures and juxtapositions with color transparencies. I love painting mystical animals and hallucinogenic things in space.
